Kings Arms Hotel - Melrose

This place perfectly suits my needs with excellent wi-fi, a cozy bar/lounge, and a lovely restaurant. I fondly remember how the staff offered me a cold drink during my first stay. Can't wait to return for Christmas!

An enjoyable stay for short stay, peaceful and amazing location. A really nice building in the middle of Melrose. Also, in the town centre. Recently refurbished rooms with nice decoration. Breakfast with specific foods. The service in the property was excellent. Not to mention free wifi!

We stayed for 2 nights in a cozy double room. The staff were super friendly and the food was seriously amazing, especially breakfast! Comfy bed, great for a good night's sleep. Just wish the parking was a bit closer, had to walk a bit after unloading. Loved the bar area too!

The breakfast was fantastic, especially the veggie sausages! We enjoyed a small music event in the beer garden which was fun after our dinner.

Noise from the attached pub is a constant issue, especially late at night. The confined layout of the King Room leaves little space for additional amenities, feeling cramped with limited furniture. Cleaning standards were inconsistent, with some public areas and rooms showing a need for more thorough attention.

I visited recently and found the atmosphere cute. The staff were great. The breakfast was a highlight, with varied options that were satisfying. This was my first time staying here, and it surpassed my expectations.

fantastic access to melrose abbey and lovely local cafes

I found it convenient being just a few steps from the beautiful National Trust for Scotland Priorwood Garden and only a short walk to the historic Melrose Abbey, making my city strolls good and filled with fine landmarks.

Had a blast with my friends! We visited fine landmarks nearby and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of our room. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when we needed assistance navigating the hotel's stairs. Just a heads-up, the ground floor rooms are limited, so ask early if you need one.
